About

Welcome to phasenpunkt! My name is Andi Albrecht, and I created phasenpunkt to share my passion for programming, music, sound, and design with you. As a programmer and long-time enthusiast of creative technologies, phasenpunkt is my personal project that allows me to explore the intersection between algorithmic and human creativity.

For many years, I have been experimenting with the combination of programming and modern technologies in the fields of music and design. These experiments were previously kept private, but with phasenpunkt, I want to share the results of my work with you. My passion lies in developing innovative and unique virtual musical instruments as well as aesthetically pleasing designs that are both functional and inspiring.

phasenpunkt operates at the intersection of algorithmic and human creativity. By using programming as a creative process, I create products that use the potential of technological creativity. My goal is to illustrate the synergy between human and machine, pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

At phasenpunkt, I see programming as an act of creativity. My systematic experiments showcase the synergy between human and machine creativity, expanding the limits of technological capabilities. I believe in breaking out of the deterministic behavior of coding, allowing bugs, glitches, and happy accidents to achieve unexpected results. This approach highlights the unpredictability and beauty of the creative process, where errors can lead to unique and innovative outcomes. This philosophy is reflected in the products I create. But sometimes it’s nothing more than the beauty of minimalism.

In the near future, I plan to release new innovative products, including a HALion Sonic instrument. I am continuously working to expand phasenpunkt while pursuing my creative mission.

Thank you for choosing phasenpunkt. I am excited to be part of your creative journey and help you express your unique style.
